IT for practices where
downtime means a full waiting room.
GP clinics, specialists and allied health practices need clinical software that runs, patient records that stay private, and fast help when the system goes down at 8am.
What we know about practices
The problems that cost appointments.
Problem: Clinical software slows down or will not open at the start of the day.
How we help: We monitor the server and workstations it depends on, keep it updated outside clinic hours, and know the vendors to call.
Problem: Patient records are on devices nobody is tracking.
How we help: Every device is managed, encrypted and can be wiped if lost.
Problem: Practitioners need secure access from home or another site.
How we help: Secure remote access set up properly, with multi-factor sign-in.
Problem: Accreditation asks questions about your IT security.
How we help: We help practices through accreditation: we set up and run your IT to meet its IT requirements and keep the evidence ready for the assessor.

Clinical software, looked after
Updates and results, handled for you.
Clinical updates after hours
Software and drug updates are announced first, backed up, installed after hours when no doctor needs the system, and tested before you open. Included where your plan carries clinical software upgrades.
Pathology and radiology results
We set up and look after the delivery of results and referrals into your clinical software, and chase it with the lab or messaging provider when results stop arriving.
Remote access for doctors
Secure access for on-call work, ward rounds and home, with multi-factor sign-in and failed sign-ins monitored.
Moving clinical software
Migrations are planned as a project: a test migration on temporary hardware first, then the cut-over outside clinic hours.
Systems we work with every day
We know the systems your practice runs on.
We look after the computers, network and connections these run on, and work directly with each vendor when something breaks. New software doesn't slow us down: when your practice adds a system, we learn it, set it up with the vendor and add it to how we look after you.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these vendors.

Do you support our clinical software?
Yes: Best Practice Premier, MedicalDirector Clinical, MedicalDirector Pracsoft, Zedmed, Genie and Gentu. We support the computers, servers and networks they run on and work with your software vendor on application issues.
Can you move us to different clinical software?
Yes. We have moved practices from Zedmed to Best Practice Premier, and from MedicalDirector Clinical and Pracsoft to Best Practice Premier. We plan the move with you and your software vendors, and do the cut-over outside clinic hours.
What if our practice uses software you have not listed?
We adapt quickly to new software. When your practice adds a system, we learn it, set it up with the vendor, record it in your documentation and look after the computers and network it runs on from day one.
How long have you supported practices?
Since 2008.
Can you work outside clinic hours?
Yes. Updates and maintenance are scheduled outside clinic hours wherever possible.
